Nine million bicycles in Beijing, Nine million scooters in Bangkok!

Is this real?

On our day of arrival in Thailand, it was the birthday of the king(Dec. 5th) This is a national holiday and a big reason for Thai people to throw a huge party, since they are very proud of their king. Everybody celebrates this day and there's pure chaos EVERYWHERE. People are coming from all over the country to Bangkok. The main streets are overcrowded, full of lights, and market-stands all over. There were, what appeared to be one billion people. Like i said veryfirst day =Crazy. It was bigger than New year's eve, like nothing you've ever seen before.

Nine million people live in Bangkok. And they all own a scooter! wtf?!

There aretraffic lights at the corner of every street but no one looks at them. I wonder if the people here know what these things are for. Apparently they use them as street decoration over here..

But I could imagine living here 'cause it's so goddamn beautiful.

Anyway the first few days in Bangkok were Genious!I think we saw about 400 Buddha's and that's if I just count the big ones(human size) if you count the little ones it would be completly ridiculous. We are being brainwashed

Yesterday we visited a National park and after that we made an Elephant-ride through the Jungle. A birthdayto remember!

Over all Thailand is overwhelmingly beautiful and everywhere you turn around there is a friggin' wonderful temple in front of you..

Last night we went to Pattaya, to visit Sara's dad and had dinner together.

We're at the airport now, it's time to exchange the Buddha's for kangaroo's!

See you in Sydney!

I will put a link directly to her diary on my page very soon!

So,.. these last two weeks we have been finishing the final paper-work... which was ALOT, glad that it's behind us.

I am especially looking forward to; my birthday in Bangkok, the Sun, Surfcamp, Melbourne, Ayers Rock, Litchfield National Park & all the animals we will meet along the way! (and by that I mean the kangooroos & koala's NOT the crocodiles, snakes, jellyfish & tarantula's.)

Mais avant de partir, il reste deux semaines pour moi d'être avec mon ange!
